The Third Urban Sketchers Meet Up

The next drawing event will be Saturday 29th June, 1.00pm - meeting at the front entrance of Ulster Museum.  The itinerary is: lots of drawing and then repairing to a café, to look over our drawings and have a chat. All are welcome!  Enjoy drawing on location with fellow drawing enthusiasts.

2nd Drawing Event, Ulster Museum 25 May 2013

The second drawing event took place on Sat 25th May, at the Ulster Museum. The weather was brilliant, so we all decided to draw outside in Botanic Gardens.  There was a wealth of subject choice, which was great. At about 3.30pm we met up for a chat and had a look at our drawings. We all decided that the location is a good one for drawing in and have decided to make the next few meetings there.

Inaugural Urban Sketchers Belfast Drawing Event

We had our first drawing event Saturday 27th April.  Suprisingly, it was sunny and didn't rain! Six sketchers came along, we split up and drew quick sketches 15-30mins in the Waterfront area. 
The severe lines of the concrete paving and surrounding glass-fronted buildings presented quite a challenge, in perspective and scale.  It's a wind whipped area, so despite the sun, it was cold and after a couple hours we reitred to nearby St George's Market for tea, chat and some more drawing.

First Urban Sketchers Meetup

The first Urban Sketchers Belfast drawing event will be Sat 27th April. Meeting at front of Waterfront Hall 1pm. The itinerary is: lots of drawing and then winding up about 4pm to repair to a suitable pub/café, look over our drawings and have a chat.
